FirstPort

Firstport is Scotland’s development agency for start-up social entrepreneurs and social enterprises.

The team provides a full package of support to help turn ideas into viable social businesses, including seed funding, free business support and practical resources. The Firstport team manages the Scottish Government’s Social Entrepreneurs Fund which provides grants if you are looking to test out an idea. The Firstport team also run a number of place-based programmes and LaunchMe – Scotland’s only social enterprise accelerator.
