    Interface matched James Frew Ltd with West College Scotland to develop a new innovative training planning process, including the monitoring of certification renewals, development of individual training plans and the measurement of the impact of training through AMI (Achievement Measurement Indexing). This project was funded through a Scottish Funding Council Innovation Voucher, administered by Interface.

    Flaér, a performance cycling brand Sought academic expertise to conduct aerodynamic testing to better understand the performance benefits of their Revo Via product and establish what drag their system would create on a road bike. Through Interface they accessed a wind tunnel facility at the University of Glasgow.

    Sunamp, develop heat batteries that store energy as heat which can be released on-demand to provide heat and hot water, was connected through Interface to the University of Edinburgh in 2010. The project proved the concept of the most stable, heat energy storage material for the company. As a result the company developed two new products, increased staff and have secured further funding for larger scale projects - their relationship with the University of Edinburgh still continues today.
