Join us to hear how Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC duo, Sean Kerr and Stephen McQueen, worked with Interface to identify academic partners to develop scientifically proven production and application methods for Biochar, and went on to have a successful collaboration with the University of the Highlands and Islands.
Biochar is a stable form of carbon, which when added to soil, slows down the release of CO2 into the atmosphere, drastically reducing its impact on the climate.
NB This event will take place as part of the online Social Enterprise Policy & Practice Conference 2021 on Hopin. A link to register for this event to join this session as a breakout option will be issued.
Join Dr. Siobhán Jordan, Interface, Alison Wood, Floco (formerly Lilypads) and Graeme Bisland from University of Strathclyde and National Manufacturing Institute Scotland on our first Inclusive Innovation programme webinar.
Here, they will discuss Floco’s journey in developing their reusable sanitary products and their experience of working with Interface; from bringing their initial idea, Interface’s support to match Floco with suitable academic partners through to launching their new product.
